After over two years of research and development we are pleased to announce our new type 515 depth standard specimen, with six grooves of 1mm, 100µm, 50µm, 10µm, 5µm and 1µm depth.

 

The overall image size is 40 mm x 30 mm.

The base to the large label area is about 6 mm think, and the extra height to the top of the groove is another 2 mm. This means the solid steel of the measuring area is approximately 8 mm thick.
